Enthusiastic young athletes were at Sengkang Sports Complex today for the 2018 edition of SHF B Division Hockey 5s.

 

A total of 17 teams participated in this year’s carnival with 9 teams in the Boy’s Category and 8 Teams in the Girls Category.

 

The Girl’s category showcased a success story from the development work carried out by Singapore Hockey and Woodlands Ring Secondary School, with Woodlands Ring sending their first ever girls team to participate in a tournament.

 

Even with the friendly carnival atmosphere of the event, competition on the pitch was fierce as teams battled hard for the title of champions.
